I was actually about to post asking the question "Did our new Mexican signing convince anyone to re-up on their season tickets?" Is that what did it for you? Was it the snazzy new jersey? The club's eSport win? The hole in the roof that got repaired? The new, non-clashing Bimbo logo on the jersey?
My FOMO is pretty low when StubHub has plenty of tickets under $30. I guess Id have FOMO on the $20 seats but nah. I'll wait til there's at least a 10 day weather forecast to determine if I scalp a cheap ticket on a nice spring day or watch ya'll freeze in a March snow squall.
Definitely wasn't FOMO. I had one foot out the door. 100% this is because of Marco Fabian and more specifically the level of profile a player like him carries. Without that signing I'd be surfing stub-hub this year... instead now I have a full season. I always wanted to re-doop, I genuinely love this team and the idea of giving up tickets just sucked... I just couldn't find any reason that justified it. I was really really looking for a reason to renew, and Marco Fabian is enough reason for me. In my opinion he is the exact type of player this team should have been targeting for the last 10 years and never did... so them bringing him was enough reason for me... it's what I've been begging for from the get-go and it's what I told them I wanted and for once they delivered, so yes, they will get my season ticket dollars for a tenth season. The team is still on thin ice with me, I told my rep I'm really happy with the move but we need to keep building off of this, Fabian can't be the end-all-be-all, I'm going to continue asking for more from this team... they need to keep building off of this a moving forward. Basically I'm just going to re-assess things on year to year basis... Fabian is enough to sell me for 2019. I'm really happy to say I'm a season ticket holder, but we need to continue in this direction or else I will jump ship.
I know I'm still not going to make every game and I had enough trouble giving away tickets for free when I couldn't last year. After being locked in for 9 years I'm starting to look forward to sitting wherever I feel like for any given game. People always complain about the empty seats and a lot of that is season ticket holders only going when they feel like it and just sitting on unused tickets.
Tickets are still lower than face on StubHub and the team doing BOGO in May have saved me from from fomo. To be honest, the only thing I'm going to miss is parking in lot b.
I feel like they'll be mid-table with a 1st round playoff exit...which at this point isn't that much different than sucking.
Well, at least they'd do with new faces and a whole new tactical approach...so at least there's that.
Anyone else opt for the digital tickets this year? Got the email last night. Like the convenience to add them directly to my phone via Apple Wallet. If I need to complain about one thing, it's pretty laborious to go through and add each seat for each and every game.
Totally agree. I was going to post something along these lines. Will be very convenient after the initial inconvenience.
Wondering if anyone else has advance notice when they get UPS deliveries headed their way? I have an account with UPS that does this and I have now received 4 different tracking numbers for deliveries coming at me from Keystone (none of which have actually shipped). Note that I only have 2 seats.
I think you had to opt-in and express interest a few months back. Not sure you can get into it now. T-shirt Scarf Magnet Lanyard
Seriously? It's 2019 and these folks are still rolling out an iOS only program like that's still normal or acceptable. Just alienate 50% of your remaining fanbase even further than you already have over the least decade.
