Yeah, I got that email, too. Sad to see him go. He really was a good guy trying to make the best of an awful situation. He was always able to read between the lines in my emails and then decide if it was something we could do via email, or if it was an issue that he needed to call me to talk about.
For the regular stub hub buyers: How much do you typically end up spending after fees and what is the cheapest/best place to park at the stadium without a parking pass?
I am still under face for club seats with fees. I park at the church at 4th an Edwards, $10 and you can use the bathroom. They also sometimes have a dude BBQ if you’re up for a dodgy pork sandwich pregame. Never quite sure if it’s the U or my dietary choices why I feel queasy. It’s a mystery.
Moved away now, but last year I was getting tix for low 20's plus fees. I parked on the street down a little from the gas station. Yes, I'm a cheap b*****d.
Also there are a few fb groups (c'mon the u, phila union fan discussion) people are always unloading tix on there
It is a shame that the value of being a season ticket member is now so low that I feel absolutely nothing over dropping. The experience down there hasn't been the same for a while and there is not anything about the team we field that inspires the kind of passion I felt the first few years. The team has actually played some decent football in spots too. It just doesn't feel like it'll go anywhere because for every step the Union might take, the rest of the league takes two or three.
There also seems to be a tendency to trumpet anything positive as some huge accomplishment which is pretty tone deaf given the history of this team.

My brother brought me back a Barcelona scarf as a souvenir from his recent Euro trip... Glad to see that the STM tickets can be mobile next season so STM cards will become a thing of the past (at least for me).
They only questioned me twice going through the gates, like that's any different than scanning a mobile ticket. Also, before last year I asked the main fan services dude if there was a mobile option so I didn't have to carry the card. He scoffed and said "you are literally the only person ever to complain about the card, people love it". . Au contraire bonjour, who's scoffing now
Same here. Love hanging them around my neck. Also easier to give to friends without the Union getting their email address'.
