Rayo might be throwing in the towel.

And because the NASL doesn't know how to coordinate a last day we are the only game next Sunday.
So, Minnesota will play on Saturday and we will know what we have to do before we even step on the field. Pretty sweet position to be in.

Sunday Night could be the final Rayo OKC home match in team history. NASL is in trouble and Rayo OKC is in trouble as well.

Taking the "Not like MLS" a bit too far with that one ... good luck though!

Trust me, I hate to give MLS credit. But I have to when it's warranted. Their last day was planned pretty well. EVERY game started at the same time. Rayo OKC is the ONLY game on Sunday, from what I have heard. Could be a little anti-climactic?

I don't think there is much the NASL can do about it. Many minor league soccer teams don't have first rights to any given day at their venue. So the blame is really more on Rayo OKC for not being able to gain the right to play on that field on that day than the NASL.

Just a thought: After the NASL season concludes, are there any players on the Rayo OKC squad who are good enough to go on loan until the next NASL spring season to the First team?

Definitely, they weren't a bottom of the table team.

From what I heard from someone close to the inside, part of Sebastian Velasquez's contract with Rayo OKC is that if he completes the full year here, then he gets a try-out for RVdM. Not sure how accurate that is. And if it IS accurate for Sebz, not sure what other offers were made to the other members of the team.

With Minnesota's loss to the Cosmos tonight, Rayo OKC is officially in The Championship and will play in New York next Saturday night in the second semifinal.
