Twente equalised shortly after and it ended 2-2 which left Vitesse just outside a playoff spot for the Europa League. Apart from the goal, Zhang looked pretty bad the whole game. Very poor touches and passing accuracy, and his balance is shaky to say the least. He seems like he can't focus on both shielding and receiving the ball at the same time, which often led to him either fallen to the ground or heavily misplacing the ball. The only positive thing I can say about him is his movement, however it is quite clear that his teammates don't have much trust in him yet as he rarely got the ball despite often making runs that left him completely open, but you can't really blame them when he looses the ball more often than not when played to.
You guys know there is a 35-year old Chinese player currently playing in Segunda B? Talk about unexpected. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gao_Leilei
Xu Xu (18 year old Chinese winger) signed for RCD Espanyol's academy a couple weeks back. Very technically gifted and a quick dribbler. Here's a video of him from last season when he played for UE Cornelia: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/4HFMlG3ZIfw/
After years of hard working and dedication, Chinese striker Yuning Zhang broke through at Vitesse this season. The striker scored during one of his first matches against Roda and in Vitesse’s last match of the season against FC Twente. Can he become the first Chinese footballer to really break through and become a star in Europe? https://fromarnhemwithlove.com/2016/06/23/yuning-zhang-the-first-chinese-football-star-in-europe-2/
Zhang scored the first goal in a 2-0 friendly win against Shakthar Donetsk today. He has also received the nr 9 shirt, which might be a good indicator to how much they value him at Vitesse.
Doesn't mean much. Park Chu-Young was given Nr. 9 at Arsenal. Good news for him is that Dominic Solanke has gone back to Chelsea. He will be competing with Abiola Dauda next season, unless Chelsea decides to dump another striker on Vitesse.
Tang Shi and Yeerjieti Yeerzhati (from Gondomar SC) have both signed for Primeira Liga club Pacos de Ferreira.
Zhang Yuning scored a second goal in as many games as Vitesse lost a friendly 2-3 against KV Oostende.
Yeah, Lin scored some goals and then its like he disappeared. I think he is on the bench. I believe he may be suited to a lower level European club
Probably another PR stunt just like what happened to Xu Xin at Atletico. He was "promoted" to the first team during the preseason and featured in some friendlies and trained with the squad but as the season started he never made the squad even once. I can´t imagine Lin being promoted to Castilla for real as he didn´t feature that much for Juvenil towards the latter stages of the season.
Maybe it's because he's 19 and Juvenil-A plays in the U19 league? If Real Madrid releases him just a year after he signed a 5-year contract, that'll just make them look bad.
Worth to mention also that Vitesse has played each friendly subbing the whole team during HT meaning that Zhang has scored 3 goals during three halves. Then again it´s only friendlies. The one he scored today was another header from a corner by fellow asian Kosuke Ota.
Lin Liangming played his first game for Real Madrid Castilla. He started in a 3-1 win against Gimnastica Segoviana. http://www.realmadrid.com/noticias/...ari-se-estrena-con-victoria?pid=4500014248538
What do you think of Lin as a player? He seems like a playmaker. i think Xu Xu of Espanyol could be better
