By far the only player worth a ******** not wearing white.

Pretty weak showing by MLS but the match was entertaining none the less.

Of all the things I hate Greg Andrulis for, losing Jeff Cunningham is # 1.

    Agreed 100%

Maybe McCullers will find a way to get Jeffrey back in Columbus next year...

I would trade the following people for JC:

    Edson Buddle
    Marcus Storey
    Knox Cameron
    John Wolyniec
    and
    Devin Barkley

Does colorado need 4 psuedo-forwards and one international superstar?

I doubt Colorado would trade JC for anything approaching a reasonable deal. My hope is to see him playing for my side in CCS on Sept 3. Someone make a new "Fear Jeff Cunningham" banner in red white and blue.

Not the only, but certainly the best.

I think Jeff was putting himself on show. I can see him getting offers that would allow us to throw these guys in for a discount.

Maybe they'll take the Canal Zone Landon Donovan...and give him some food while they're at it.

Sure. He looked godawful in midfield. He should have been on top. And, yes, he looked great with the ball at his feet (he made Roberto Carlos his biatch a couple of times) and he went back once and stripped Baptista defensively BUT he WALKED most of the time on the right side when the ball was played away from him and never got into position for the ball to be switched to him.

Again, this was an EXHIBITION and they were jet-lagged and hadn't played together and he was playing out of position so I really don't care too much (at least Nicol didn't seem to care either).

When did the definition of godawful get changed?

I'd figured it would make you happy. I'm not sure what Nicol was trying to accomplish by playing Dempsey on top and Jeff wide right. And how about Mastro in the middle of the defense with Sequeira sitting on the bench? Reminds me of the good old days when someone was in charge of the Crew and played Sanneh and pretty much everyone else out of position.

By the way, the best move I saw Jeff make was the one that didn't work. Held the ball at the end line, looked back and took a step there while flicking the ball down the line. Unfortunately the ball just rolled out or he would have gotten by Roberto Carlos once more.
