The circle of crying will be held over here. Don't be ashamed. It feels good to cry when times get dark and there doesn't seem to be any form of brightness eminating from your love.

Free pills of prozac are available to the first 20 cryers.

If Coiner wasn't injured tonight, we won a small victory.

I seem to remember the Metrostars being on a record losing streak one season when they came to Crew Stadium and busted their slump against us. I imagine this night was just as if not more painful. I think I promised to hurl myself from the stadium lights if we lost that afternoon years ago...

I'm just in shock; you could play raquetball inside my mouth - it hasn't closed since the final whistle.

There was nothing even slightly entertaining in that game. Hell we can't even marvel at the pretty grass any more, they took that away too.

Can someone who goes to the fan forum please ask that German that coaches us, why Rozenthal continues not to play very much? If there was a fitness issue wouldn't it stand to reason that he would start the game and come out, rather than finish it in the last nine minutes? Everyone knows that I wasn't a big fan early on, but given our lack of offense, and given that he's the most creative player that Crew have, I'm baffled as to why he isn't playing. If he isn't playing because he's in the dog house, trade the f'in guy.

Don't jinx us. He could still be hit from flying debris while in autograph alley. Until he is safely home in cryogenic freeze just don't F with anything... Anything !!!

Ok, the ignore list is a real nice feature.

But when you can still see ignoree's **** in quoting, it fails a bit. Bigsoccer needs to work on this.

Didn't Sigi bring in most of these players on the roster? Now I don't want to be the first to start hurling mud at Sigi, but damn yo! Honestly, I feel like we're mules, getting beat by this team, as we continuously aim for that carrot (a cup, a win, a game involving more that 1 goal for the Crew, Sigi losing weight, etc. attendance over 15,000 like the days of yore, etc,). Yah mule, yah, get that carrot mule!

    Piss Poor Performance

First off Jacob Thomas is one of my favorite players but that 1st goal lies on his shoulders. What the hell was that pass back from the mid-field. He should be benched for 2 games just due to that alone. Think about it a while JT and don't do that junk again.

Gonzo can always get an acting gig after soccer. Maybe we'll see him porn movies or something.

Palmer just plain sucks. I gave him the benefit of the doubt to start but he needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

Coiner looked good in the 1st half.

We were dog tired that simple. We wouldn't of scored against a girls high school soccer team in the 2nd half. it just proves to me that in order to win in this league you need speed. We need speed on the wings and we simply don't have that right now and I don't see it coming anytime soon.

And here's something that I've mentioned before, yet no one seems to want to agree with...In MLS there isn't a true "rebuilding" season. It's not necessary, there's far too much parity for that to be an excuse. To be beaten at home by arguably the worst team in the league, but two goals, it's not good enough. Make the playoffs? How the fck does Sigi manage that if you can't even score a goal against the Metros? Still, "rebuilding"? That's a total farce.

This game was a complete and total farce. Why was Marshall on the bench? Will he be cut/traded too?

This is shameful. I never imagined it would be worse than Andrulis.

Yes, this post is almost pointless venting, but damn - what in the world is going on over there?

I have nothing good to say. There was like a grand total of 3/4 of a bright spot if you added everything up. We are not good.

I'm no coach by any means, but along these lines, doesn't building for the new season with a fresh team start in the pre-season? Right from the start, I thought a coach would find ways to build TEAM comradery thus making sure EVERYBODY was on the same page with his tactics and whatever motivations he instills in them. Either this hasn't worked or quite simply, these are the equivalent glorified USL-1 hacks. Help me out somebody.

Losing to DC United this season is one thing but to the Red Bulls? The last thing the Red Bulls and that wack @$$ mark Bruce Arena needs are wins like this for any glimmer of hope.

I think it's fair to say that they've under-performed. In Gaven you have a potential all star, and he's played like he is trying out for Westerville South JV. Rozenthal, who once featured for Rangers, looks as likely to get 90 minutes, as Paris Hilton graduating from MIT. That's the two best example.

If he was benched for simply quitting on the first goal last week - and he deserved to be, IMO - then Ezra should be forced to wear a Crewzers outfit next week.

    Disgracefully bad.

And Palmer ate it on that last goal.

People will be calling for Sigi's head soon.

And Coiner needs to learn that if the net is open, don't put a damn thing on the ball, just push it in. Unacceptable that he missed that on an open goal. If he had gotten that and we were up first, we win, plain and simple. Plus, Coiner, you can't score with your back to the goal.

Seriously, Gaven was eating it tonight. Sub Seb for Gaven is my new motto. Sub Seb in earlier than 9 minutes too, please. He came in and the game really improved but then that goal just suckerpunched them and took the life out of them.

Start Gaudette on Saturday. I'm all for giving him a chance.

    Re: Piss Poor Performance

I honestly don't remember how that started, but you're letting the real goat off the hook -- Noelle Palmer. How can you get five-holed from that angle? That's atrocious. I want somebody else in goal saturday, I don't care if they get pulled off the street.

I said that at the stadium and somebody looked at me and we had this exchange:

"He's the sixth string keeper!! What do you want?"
    "The seventh string keeper."

Since you used "awkward" and "pitch" in the same sentence...

Why did the field look like total s***?
