I know some people are saying it's almost a shame that we didn't win the title at home in front of our fans but I disagree. The away support is where you find the most die hard fans, the ones who do the round trip to the north east, slumming it and risking everything by going to east London and yes, cold wet Tuesday nights in stoke. I love that this passionate core got to have their deserved moment with the team. Credit to them as they always bring it wherever they go. I miss being a part of it. And now the last two home matches will be a carnival atmosphere and hopefully lots of youth being bloodied as we rest up ahead of the second part of the double.
Not our finest performance of the year..............but who the **** cares! All I know is that this morning my head hurts and I have a tongue as dry as Ghandi's flip flop! :-D
