I love it. And my daughter who loves dancing and is becoming an avid drummer at the mere age of 2 is loving all the beats and eurotrash tunes.

I like a bit of insanity and WTF? in my programming and apparently so does my daughter. Her love of the Banana Splits re-runs suggests this. (and honestly that show is freaking weird too)

That host is super freaking righteous.

It's got Sid and Marty Krofft written all over it - can you say H.R. Pufnstuf, Banana Splits, Lidsville, Bugaloos, etc.

Why would anybody let a little punk banging on a drum near baby Jesus?

What I want to know is, why are they teaching our kids that saying, "Swiper, No Swiping" actually works in getting rid of someone? My daughter uses it all the time!

    A few things I've pondered:

Is it just me or is Caillou a whiney little wanker?

Are Clifford's poops as big as I think they are?

Is Charley, Maisy's crocodile friend, just faking his mental retardation?

    How does Oobi wipe?

Shouldn't Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater be charged with domestic abuse?

George Shrinks' long-term relationship prospects are looking pretty dim, aren't they?

I wish, I wish with all my heart to...never let my kids watch Dragon Tales again.

    Boohbah. WTF?

    What the Hell was THAT?

My kids are big into Little Einsteins, which is fine, except that I have a 2 year old who asks people to play Mozart for him.

Little Einsteins is very good. If we hear classical music anywhere (be it at home, in a store, in a movie, from a commercial, etc) my son turns and says "I know that song" - there can't be anything wrong with that.

Except that my kids (ages 2 and almost 4) have gotten into arguments at night about what good night music to play "Mozart!" "No Vivaldi!"

That is incredibly cute. If only my kids were doing that! My son *does* occasionally get excited when he hears some classical music. I tell him it's by Mozart of Vivaldi or whatever and he corrects me: "No, Mom, it's from the Little Einsteins." Oh well. :)

    I have 5 & 3 yr olds - I get the same thing - but's way better than having a 50 Cent / Cheetah Girls fight. Man I'm happy I have sons ;)

    1. Why Caillou's dad hasn't beaten him bloody is a mystery to me
    2. Is the new Sprout chick hotter than the old one?
    3. Why is theme from Sagwa always getting stuck in my head?
    4. How funny would it be to have Diego try to rescue an animal he thought was in trouble but was actually mating?

    OK, back to the music

    1. How poor do you have to be to eat curds and whey?
    2. How did the old lady swallow anything larger than a bird?
    3. Was King Cole a pothead?

I had to scan "The Sunny Side Up Show" and "The Good Night Show" a couple of weeks ago to find out when Thomas was on so I could program the Tivo properly, and aside from wanting to rip out my eyeballs during "Make Way for Noddy" and "Dragon Tales," I had to ask myself: is it wrong to want to be the meat in a Kelly-Nina sandwich? Chica can watch as long as she keeps quiet, but Star should go take a long walk off a short pier, if he can even walk with those stubby little legs.

(This is one of those posts where I am glad that my wife does not read BigSoccer.)

    Hola Bill! ;)

I don't know; Quetzal always struck me as the reincarnation of El Guapo, and I could almost hear him telling the little dragons that he knew them as well as he knew his own smell. That made it all the more tolerable.

But my kids are out of that television viewing age - though I don't recall any show where the lady hostesses were quite along the lines of what you mention!

Y'all crack me up. I haven't been able to look at Sprout the same since this thread. Not that I find any of them attractive, but that's just as well.

so everyone here's familiar with the Wiggles, i'm sure. but my favorite to watch is the backup dancer, Benny. he's the blonde, round guy with way too much energy. a few years back we took our daughter to see the Wiggles live in concert and Benny had a solo dressed in a fish outfit. it was awesome!

anyone else know who Benny is?
