He's starting for Dortmund vs Bayern. I'd say he is highly valued just not going to play inside all the time yet. His ability to play most of the attacking positions AND play a little defense, win second balls, press, etc is what keeps him on the pitch when he is in a scoring funk. If he wasn't so versatile then it would be create AND score or sit period. I am grateful he is getting on at all. No one at his club is thinking WE MUST PLAY THROUGH CP22 OR DIE ZOMGZZZ.
Bosz really needs to put CP under center, behind Auba. He really got nothing to loose at this point. They have nothing in the offense.
CP has been great going forward..the rest of BVB has been shite. Especially Auba and Yarmo, very disappointing.
Puli and Shinji are the only threats going forward. Phillip for Yarmo at half, and pour some cold water on Auba to wake him up.
Kagawa and Yarmo are TOO SLOW attackers for the pace of this game. Bosz need to make some changes and put more speed up front, and slide CP in the middle. CP has been the ONLY BVB attack the first half.
Phillip is not even on the bench today. I expect Schurrle and Goetze will be subbed in at some point for better or worse.
