def seems like the instructions today for CP are to hug the line, provide width, keep benfica honest

Toljian looks weak. Keep loosing the ball in the final third.

What are the dimensions of the field? I get that it's a football field and not going to have soccer specifications, but this one in particular looks incredibly small.

Beautiful by Pulisic, he completely tricked Grimaldo while outrunning Fejsa.

Nice run and great meg of Grimaldo. Could have done a bit better with the cross.

Thing is Puli and Goetze have two men on each now: Fejsa + Grimaldo on Puli, Zivkovic + Almeida on Goetze. With that they stopped the bleeding, but also Benfica is only attacking with three, or four if Silva gets there in time.

Schmelzer and Larsen have better chemistry than Toljan and Pulisic though.

Looks like Pulisic is one of the few subs.

Goetze calm and smooth as silk. Cool to watch, best player on pitch at the moment (outside of CP of course)

CP: wow, dangerous, confident.. that was fun to see. They'll keep him wide this season and let him beat his man and make the crosses. Its where he shines.

Keep him on the sideline and he'll pick up a few assists.

Let him inside and he'll score a few, and assist a few.

Pretty clear there where you want CP to play.

that's not true. That doesn't use his abilities as he is at his best switching positions and popping up in different areas.

You dont think he's great at getting to the endline and putting in dangerous crosses? I do.

Do i want him more involved centrally...of course. But cant deny how impactful he is out wide and obviously his coaches are instructing him accordingly.

thats a pretty narrow part of soccer. It's not bad, just limited.
