He looked a little run down to me for the US, hopefully he is ready and he might be pulled at the half for fitness so lets not be shocked if and when that happens.

Dortmund's coach must be mentally deficient. All he has to do is protect the center of the pitch on the defensive end. He has enough speed, attacking talent, skill, etc to create goals. So what does he do? Spread the field isolate his CB's and get attacked right down the middle on simple early passes to runs down the middle.

    Meh.

Man, that hurts. Could have been red.

VAR helps to change it to red.

    Ravet gone, Freiburg with 10.

Zagadou the CB (and countryman of the just expelled Ravet) to play left back now.

That sort of hammering on your leg is not to take the ball, but to take you out. So, Schmelzer is gone.

Zagadou on for Schmelzer. 2 subs used by BVB already. Looks like Pulisic will likely play the full 90, and I was hopeful for him to get some rest ahead of the CL match.

Now it's going to be 60 minutes of Freiburg bunkering.

SCF taking out an attacking mid and bringing in a defensive one.

I have a feeling he's studying the situation. The moment he appears, the moment they score.

Pulisic keeps making these little runs that everybody, even Gunter (the guy marking him) ignores.

It's not for lack of effort. He's movng off the ball trying to show but is surrounded by 3 Freiburg players.
