Those AZT IV's are really nice!

I notice that Adriano's Vapors have no insoles. Do you think he plays without them in? It's unlikely that the seller just took them out, surely!

A lot of players have custom fit insoles they swap from boot to boot so I think that is what happened here and with many other insole-less boots

Old thread I know but I'm bored at work... :D

Anyway, a pair of Torres' Lasers

Note the different soleplate (there's a name for this style of soleplate but I can't remember it), small/flatter toebox and of course, custom embroidery.

I wouldn't be surprised if the toebox went flatter on all Lasers when they have been worn it, it happened with Vapors all the time.

That's an AZTII soleplate, again there is a specific name but it eludes me at the moment.

Does anybody know where I could buy the Feet You Wear insoles that Becks has in his boots? I don't quite like the PowerPulse ones with Tungsten in my PowerSwerves but I love the touch and feel of the boot and am looking for an insole with a bit more comfort. Thanks.

The feet you wear insoles were from the Accelerators so you won't get hold of them unless you buy the boots.

Holy crap, this thread got alot of action real quick after my boredom-motivated post.

Interact soleplate! That's the name I was thinking of, I've seen pics of Kewell in another thread wearing Lasers with the same soleplate.

As for the flatter toebox, I may well be wrong on that one....

That colourway wasn't anything special to me but in that picture, in that lighting those boots look badass!

Football boots have long been used in other codes for years, in this case Rugby Union:

Starting with the Absolute line of Predators Adidas released the Predator Absolute Special; a FIFA approved football boot designed for Rugby.

Here's Australian Matt Giteau (relax he's just stretching ;)) during a training session in custom Predator Absolute Specials (Rugby versions), note the FG stud configuration and the slight differences in colouring of the soleplate.

Predator Specials have only ever been available to the public in SG form with "hybrid" X-Traxion studs.

EDIT: Shrapnac if you see this I hope you don't mind that I used one of your pictures that you posted in Skizz's Predator Range thread =).

A couple of action shots of Canterbury Crusaders players (in less compromising positions than Giteau in my previous post) in custom versions of the new Predator PowerSwerve Rugby Special which so far is also looking like only being released in SG form.

Note that the custom PowerSwerve Specials pictured are using the custom Absolute Special soleplate.

We all know about Becks' personalised toungues but does he also get his boots laceless? I suppose it could happen considering adidas have moulds of his feet, therefore they should be a glove like fit...

P.S. I know it's an old picture but I couldn't find any new close ups but the toungues are flat on the recent pics as well.

Re: Professional Players' Custom or Match Worn Boots

Oh right. Maybe he just cuts them well short like I do. I find that's a major negative with adidas boots (well the ones I've had). Both my copas' and my predators' laces have been extremely long. I didn't mind so much with the copas because that's the style but I like to have my aces as short as possible so that the toungue is flat creating the clean kicking surface.

Becks with laceless Preds? Possible, probably unlikely though. Or maybe he's got elastic shoe laces like what some triathletes do so they can just "slip-on" their running shoes to save time on transitions. Possible, but again seems highly unlikely. I'd say he probably does just cut them shorter so there's less bulk once he ties them.

P.S. those Pulses look a-w-e-s-o-m-e in that picture.
