hey guys, I am new to the match worn boots hobby, need you opinion on what to look for when buying a pair of match worn boots. Also I see a pair of match worn Ibrahimovic boots on ebay, but cant tell if they are true match worn. Please help if possible with your knowledge/experience http://www.ebay.com/itm/match-worn-...ps=63&clkid=7002096457735858938#ht_500wt_1070
They were not "worn" but they are player issue models specific to Zlatan. Very often players have loads of extra boots in various colorways, many don't get used. It appears that this is the case here. They are just as authentic as ones that he wore, but they don't have a "history" to them.
ahh I see. Now how to tell if boots are "match worn" as opposed to match issued? What things should one look for? Thank so much in advance mate!
Generally match worn boots, look...well, worn. There are distinct features on some match boots, like Zlatan's tongue and things like Ronaldo's (Brasil) higher heel tabs (on older Vapors) stitching patterns, and Walkable insoles. A lot of Nike's have different outsoles on the player issues or match worn models that are not available to the general public. On most adidas boots the tags say Made in Germany, and MTM on them. I would suggest looking at sites with real match worn stuff to get an idea of what they are like so when you see some on eBay, you can tell if they are legit. I have seen people throw stitching on shoes to mimic player issue models and try to sell them for a lot of money. Know your product before you dive in head first.
those could be general cleats for all we know with a CR customization. no evidence these were in fact CR7's !
He says: *I reserve the right to withdraw from auction at any time as I have recieved a very good external offer* Do buyers reserve to withdraw from buying if this isn't a CR boot? No way in hell I'd ever buy a boot for that price.
