Problem with pms to super mods

i am just explaining the situation . we have seen a pm from you stating that you already know about the new forum that we never shared publicly .so we are baffled on how you knew the url?

 

this is the thing, we have evidence that you knew about the new forum URL well before P posted it on the chicago fire thread. what gives?

 

you sent this pm to P BEFORE he posted the URL on the chicago fire forum . you can check that PM yourself

no i agree with you and its not acceptable either .. but i dont think you should held him accountable for using google. members have responsibilities to protect their identify and if a simple google search with your username return your life story then its not that person fault... also just to make it clear, he only threaten to use all his personal info when he over reacted and banned him, but before that he only posted his first name and did not even say it was his name.. thats like saying to you "ok george or mark or chris or john or whatever"... the mod could have brushed it off or just ignored it instead of the ban because now he brought more attention to himself.... anyways i am not going to argue that part because by the end of the day its your forum and you gotta do what you gotta do .. the concerns we have here is mostly about the PM.

 

I helped MS to fix that issue since then and clean his personal info online (you can ask him for the details if you want) but it literally all it took was to search his username on google and some other website had his username and his email address, then P used that email address on facebook and it showed his facebook profile and pictures..

no i am not saying its you who read the PM i am just saying its just odd that you knew about the URL/forum before P shared publicly.. i mean i personally dont really care that much (but maybe our European friends have an issue with this since its invading privacy and whatnot) its most likely got shared with you since you are saying there are no capabilities for you to see pms *shrugs* i just see why the members are concerned about this.
