And we struggled mightily with that midfield. Our run last year where we won the title was this a Kante Matic midfield. We have very limited options. This is just being realistic. We can go with a Fabergas Kante pairing, but the chances of that midfield getting beat over 90 are pretty good. Fabergas and Kante worked well late in matches when teams decided to shut up shop and threw players in front of goal. Right now, even with 3 midfielders we're getting pressed early in these matches at such a high level that even 3 or 5 midfielders get overrun at times. We've lost 2 matches this season to sides that in the bottom 3. Putting out a weakend side or even a weakened midfield isn't the best option. We are very limited in midfield right now.
