    Well this start has sucked.

Interesting read on the ESPN site about the boys.

I know it's too early, but man, we desperately need a win tomorrow, which isn't easy at Craven Cottage.

I'm ready to get on a train in 20 mins to head to the cottage - 4 hours including tube - watch the match and then train it back to my sisters.

I've already told her that if we lose I might miss the train back, because I'm going to have to find the team hotel and slap them all...

I think that would be fair punishment for a bad display :D

This will put us back on track.

Another game with no goals. The 0-0 tie moves us to 3 points on the season in 6 games, with 4 goals scored.

Officially dead last in the EPL.

Disheartening. i dont understand the formation by the coach or the poor form from the players.

The bright spot is we have been here before and recovered (admirably). 2005-2006 was an even worse start.

I will go out on a limb and either A) we make a big splash in the jan transfer window or B) we flirt with relegation all season. i dont see a middle ground as of today!

Lack of a good striker. I do like what the yak brings though. He just needs to get back to his old self. Sit Neville. Jesus every time he gets the ball, the ball takes an extra split second to move.

Not to be rude, but how can you have a worse start (at this point) than being the last place team in the league?

This is even worse because we've allowed salaries to balloon. We took out a loan backed by tv rights just to pay salaries this season. What happens when our TV deals are no longer worth as much? We need to sell some of our assets or start performing.

I cant find the fixture results (because I am lame) but i believe we were in relegation until after October 2005.

You may be right, but at least they had a win through their first six games. Here's their schedule.

True but a 1-0-7 start still equals our 0-2-3 start in points.
I think i would rather have 3 draws than 1 win.

Although both are poor results. It would represent in each game we have been competative. (mearly based on the result, not the actual game play).
