http://www.excellesports.com/news/ellis-uswnt-roster-nwsl-final/ These r the highlights from the halftime interview with Coach E via Excelle Sports. Actually for an Ellis interview it's pretty clear and concise.
Savannah Jordan wants to go to Europe and I've heard she is the one forward who can compete with our current national team players. I think that is great - playing in Europe did wonders for Press, Krieger, etc... tbh I think Morgan should go overseas to expand her skill set and game. Hopefully it doesn't affect negatively Jordan's ability to get call-ups in the future.
Jordan would dominate in Europe. Her physicality/pace/fight will be too much for the weaker, thinner, and less athletic center backs over there. She will feast all over them.
if she goes overseas & relies on her physicality & athleticism, she will come back to the US facing CB's honed in the NWSL & will disappear into oblivion.
Well if she does want to go the Europe and ...um...dominate... now is the time. If USSoccer thinks she in their plans then theyll want her back in the domestic league where she is at their beck and call as WC approaches.
