One plus of have a suckitude regular season is that there will be no playoff disappointment.

I think I'd rather risk disappointment.

Well, the regular season is less meaningless if you don't squander homefield advantage in the playoffs.......

And since that is almost the only place we apparently can score goals, good point.

One last, recent thought I had.

Part of me wants to say that Ben Olsen, if on the field, would single-handedly not allowed the game to unfold in the manner that it did.

Whether by scoring himself, or stopping a goal, or simply lifting his teammates to fight for the shirt, something would have been done.

There was nobody on the field with that character quality to do the job.

And there won't be for a several weeks.

Of course, someone can look up a game we got spanked with Ben out there, but still.

    We need that guy.

We need Ben out there, but part of me is slowly starting to admit to myself that we need to get used to playing without him for awhile.

I'm worried that it won't just be "a while."

    me too.

Losing the heart and soul of the team is rough, but losing both benny and jamie at the same time. this is mind numbing

    Ben Olsen

Two years. That's a career at his age.

    Thx,

    Jay!
