Something about the man in the blue suit.

We are the new masters of the 1-0.

No because Spainiards look like us and are mostly indistinguishable.

And if anything they had more influence from the moors

I don't know, something seems to tick people off about Portugal. What is it then?

We are small and poor, unknown to many.

    Ppl hate ronaldo

Ppl hate when we win and acoreanos drive around Toronto drunk wearing Benfica shirts with Portugal, Brazil , and azores flags affixed to their car , then causing multiple vehicle collisions.

Our women are either fat or a hot girl who is bat shit crazy

    Many reasons bro

Too bad Milan will probably bench him and he will become a cagao like Sanches .

Should have stayed at port fc

You could be right, but if he plays well and forces himself a starter it will only make him grow. Too many seem to be writing off Sanches already, guy is 19. He has taken 2 steps forward and now one step back.

Andre silva isn't going to as competitive of a team as Sanches did .

But Andre silva is a striker and let's be honest he still isn't the most clinical finisher. If Porto benched him , the same could happen at Milan. Those two teams are at a similar level . Serie a is much more
    Competitive, however.

    I will also add that

White people hate us because they see us as sub-white or barely white.

Minorities hate us because we colonized or attempted to almost all of their lands in South America, Africa, and Asia.

    There is no winning.

Haters don't hate losers. They only hate winners. They can hate us all day long.

Honestly our defence really isn't that good

It is just Pepe and Patricio , Cedric is good but nothing more. Rest of cbs are average at best .

Raphael is good but all the other left backs are shit. We have more depth at right back.

    William really needs more credit.
He protects our backline. Our midfielders mostly have high workrates and track back a lot to help our defence. Of course, most
People don't understand the game like I do and hate on William.

I think if I went into coaching and lived in Portugal I would easily reach mourinhos level and probably lead sporting to a CL title like he did with Porto.

There is a reason why santos keeps the brakes on our team whenever we are playing a decent side . If we open up too much and play like scolari Portugal our backline will get exposed.

When asked about why Portuguese football has resorted to pragmatism under his rule.....Santos replied:

"People may not like it, but that's the way it is with me," the national coach said, speaking in the flash interview on the pitch.

I totally agree about the defence. Sucks to lose Raphael as they don't have any depth at left back, especially after Eliseu. Fonte and Alves are both prone to make a crucial mistake. William may be "slow" but the dude is a beast defensively.

I really hope Portugal have some good young CBs coming up the pipeline. This has been the position that I have been the most concerned about the past few years. If Pepe gets hurt or suspended for long time, I think Portugal would be screwed.

Feel free to disagree with me, but, i really feel Ruben Semedo is our next big CB... he has pace, and minus the bad pass which lead to the 3rd Spain goal in their recent u-21 match, he has been solid.

Unfortunately, that is only one name.. missing atleast a couple more.

I agree, I also like Edgar Ie, and don't think we should look too deeply into the Spain match. Just having another Pepe or Carvalho is rare, but remain confident someone will emerge.

Yeah I agree that Semedo will be the next guy to come up. Hopefully Pepe will be with the Selecao for at least another 4 years and help groom him into a CB that they will rely on.

I haven't seen too much of Edgar to be honest. But I hope he can be a solid CB for us as well. It's just tough that all the CBs the Selecao have on the senior squad are on the wrong side of 30.

The under 21 team has been eliminated but Bruma is pure talent. I want to see him in the senior squad soon.
