I hope they test the Portuguese for paradoping. Especially Sergio he was totally out to lunch more so than the rest of the team. For that many players to lose speed and concentration like this today against Germany the chemical masters, I wouldn't put it past them.
Golo Selke '74 Germany 3 Portugal o FT I think Portugal did well considering the team, Germany will probably face Nigeria in the semis.
Didn't even look remotely close to the C team that i saw in those first two games. Today they looked like they just wanted to get the hell out of Brazil to avoid those mosquito's. The clubs are culpable for this loss. We could have won this whole thing if we had the proper team out there. Our players were just too integral to their respective clubs for them to make the trip to Rio.
They looked as drugged as Brazil in the semis.....But that's just speculation not like the Germans would do that. Not like they had all their food and drink shipped to Brazil and only handled by Germans under guard with the Germans not allowed to touch anything that wasn't brought over from Germany. Yup, the thought never would cross their minds.
Some of you guys are acting like this Olympic tournament matters. If you can't bring your best players, then the tournament is a big joke.
This game reminded me of a UFC fight a couple of years ago. Georges St. Pierre vs Nick Diaz where Diaz was a victim of that. He showed symptoms in that fight that alot of Portuguese players did on the pitch today.
Did you watch the game? Zombies. They were playing like they were on a hallucinogen. Probably phencyclidine. I think we're on to something, guys.
lol some German fan came in here and gave this post of mine a troll rep after the game. He must be pretty desperate to win something after that cagao at the euros. Even if it means this olympic tournament where A teams are facing C teams. B teams against C teams and so on...
Germany actually had players who players for their clubs on a regular basis. Portugal was made up of Bruno Fernandes and everything else either plays in the portuguese 2nd League or is a reserve/sub.
If it didn't matter, why even show up ? I'm disappointed with the result and the way these last two games were played. Not sure what happened, but clearly after the second game the team lost its focus some reason. The chemical option may not be that far fetched.
Are the fans in the stadium in on it too? It's okay to lose to a team that's playing well. It happens
Wasn't able to post till now since I been away during the weekend but that was very disappointing to watch Portugal play the way they did. Germany definitely had a better step to them but I am not going to say they doped the Portuguese players. Germany deserved the win and Portugal is going home. Congrats to Germany. Now lets look forward to the Confederations Cup.
