    I'd heard that Pope was still nursing his injury but would probably play with RSL today. Then I saw this:

    Pope played in Oklahoma against KC...

    Straight from the Man!
    When asked in a post game autograph session, he answered that he would not be in Mexico!

    Pope left the match in the 83rd minute. I presumed it was because he was going to the airport to get on a plane to meet up with the team for Mexico... but I guess not.

    Is this part of some mind games by BA? :)

    I wonder if the thought was that Pope wasn't healthy enough to play but that's changed.
