    Lol I know.

My buddy who didn't know who Landon Donovan was a month ago asked me how I thought John Bornstein was gonna play today.

The excitement and reaction in every corner of the media today has been great to see.

I know many of you hate this conversation...but I think it's kind of interesting that Reggie Bush is attending the World Cup, as I see him as the exact kind of American athlete who would have been fascinating to see grow up with soccer as his primary sport. He would be the prototype for the "if only every American kid wanted to be a soccer star like they do in every other country..." conversation.

Thanks for posting. Why am I not following these guys?

I learned the value of twitter during last year's Tour de France. Great insider stuff from Lance Armstrong during the entire tour.

    No kidding.

They've been OUR focus for a long time now, because we're the core of the fan base. But it seems as though America has finally met it's national soccer team, and seem to be in the process of deciding that they're a pretty likable and exciting bunch of guys, a little secret that we've known for some time now.

I dont think hes very big just built like a brick shit house. Most of your running backs arent very tall they just have legs the side of your mid section.

I remember seeing the "send off" pictures 4 years ago at a new jersey airport and the home coming. I think there will be much more of a home coming this time around. Though.. I think i would prefer to see a HUGE parade in time square for truely "world champions".

Yeah, Bush is "bigger". You can see the difference in their neck size. For the record though, I'm pretty sure all NFL players are juicing something. And I bet you anything Jozy could beat Bush in a long distance race.

I saw a tweet regarding David Wright leaving Citi Field with his Donovan jersey on. These guys are becoming truly embraced. This did NOT happen four years ago.

Soccer players run alot. They dont build their necks up for hitting.

I was surprised that Jozy is taller than Bush and has a bigger melon.

Bush isnt a very good football player, so maybe he would be better at soccer?

You must be refering to him not being a good soccer player because hes absolutely phenomenal at handegg. He's a starting RB / All purpose player for a super bowl winning team.. Most not so good players don't have many of them.
