Apologies for the double post. How come i never see many people with this colourway? I only just managed to pick it up and it is by far my favourite x16.1 colourway. And heres one more for good measure!
That colourway was cancelled for a lot of places. Where I used to work I had ordered that boot in the PureChaos in Synthetic and Leather and they cancelled both. No reason was given.
I was wondering why I never saw it in store anywhere. If it was more widely available, I would have bought it ages ago!
Although am not a fan of colored boots, but that X colorway was great. I only remember David Silva wearing it.
I wear my 2014 remakes so i don't see why not! I had an u/12's player ask me what the big red flap was over my boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funnily enough, though, I can see where they're coming from. The Pred tongue is kind of goofy looking back on it. If you need an elastic strap to hold the tongue in place, why even have a tongue like that to begin with?
Welcomed some new additions on the weekend! Picked these up for a mate and found sample Gloros before they were gloros! Look at the tongue strap!
The thing is with the predator tongue (and I admit I was a victim of this) is that people would wear the tongue so low especially on the Mania's most of the predator elements were covered up! Personally now I'd never want to wear a tongue like that I feel it interferes with the touch I have on the ball but back in the day I loved them so much. Personalisation and tongue low as possible was my motto! appleCORR
Was super pleased when they told us that the tongue strap was changing to the classic style though to be honest I liked the sample style too! And I love that colour of the PureChaos!
That's why the Precision was one of my favorites. The velcro kept the tongue in place and clear of the striking elements. I have to admit, though, Beckham made that stretched tongue iconic and could still crush a free kick without a single Predator vamp exposed!
I think the Slate Blue in the Precision was such an underrated colourway too. The whole boot was streamlined, like you said with the tongue fitting into the boot and being stuck down with the Velcro. I absolutely LOVED the FG version in them too so comfortable. They basically just took the sole off a Copa and put the red blades on! And we all know Beckham didn't need the vamps! But he rocked that tongue! I was so excited when I got to have my name stitched in mine! I also had the England flag on the heel like he did too - I need to try and find them. I have given a lot of boots away in my time over the years but I know I kept those as I had my first England school girls game in them hence Adidas rolling out the red carpet with the boots. It was a killer keeping the white leather ones clean though! I was right in there with the white sneaker paint with the sponge on the end!! I think the accelerator will always be my favourite boot it was the first proper boot I had. I always wanted the neon yellow but ended up with the black and the white pairs. Sorry I've gone off on a tangent and this should probably be in the stories of your boots thread. But although I'm very much Nike and have been for years those early Predators hold a lot of special memories for me so if they do, do a remake they better do it well. appleCORR
