Isco always were for the team, not always guaranteed starter, kept working. This issue needs to be resolved, there are players who deserve to be benched, Kroos , Bale, Asencio, Varane, but Isco really not the one who deserves punishment. Total nonsense.

 

Works his butt off, one if the few who runs to stop the counter then criticized because he's tired... I think he's terribly under appreciated by some and overated by others. Personally I'd like a specific role identified and allow him to grow into that rather than being a stop gap for whatever.

 

Isco really isn't part of the fundamental problems that the club has. There are more underachieving players that are actually playing and are hurting us a hell of a lot more. Why is he being made the scapegoat?

I disagree.
The season has been terrible because Cris left and we did not replace him. And we did that because others were supposed to step up, collectively not just one player, and they haven’t (Bale, Isco and Asensio)
We also have an aging Modric which is also contributing to our bad form and poor defense which always has been an issue with us.

 

hard for me to think that Solari just don't count him, but it seems like that's it for him. Benzema and Bale are automatic starters. Isco always his big chances in the periods where someone from the BBC was injured (which with Bale was fairly easy).
Problem right now is that Marco, who I guess is not a Bale/Benz caliber marketing star that Perez like, also underperform, yet Isco is still not playing (yes, I know, not the same position, but you change the formation a bit). just sad.

Apparently yesterday he was being criticized for being fat when the camera showed him taking off his jacket before entering the pitch..

Isco should pull out "fat-shamming" or "being plus size footballer".

For the irony, he is not even over weight. Just lacks match fitness.

 

I guess that also depends on if you should you look at a picture taken under the bright lights of the stadium or under the dimmer control light that the plus size ladies and over 40 crowd use to keep things intimate.

Edit: I'm not convinced a few extra pounds are gonna have a significant effect on the form of a player who has never utilized speed or endurance.

Absolute disgrace whats happening with Isco. If Solari intends to keep him on the bench, better sell him now.
