With preseason wrapping up it's time to turn our attention to the real deal. Revs kick off the 2018 season in Philly Saturday 3/3 at 7pm. It will be Friedel's MLS coaching debut as well.

While there probably won't be Lee out there, it will be interesting to see what starting XI Brad goes with. Diego was injured against Houston, not sure of his status. But even without him, they should still have plenty of firepower in their attack to put a couple goals past Philly. The question is can they clamp down enough to get a rare and coveted win on the road?

    Prediction: 2-1 revs

Accam with the brace, including a PK. Penilla opens his account.

I predict that would be Bunbury. Or maybe Diego?

Philly seems pretty beat, like us. Could see a draw.

Bunbury I could see as a sub for Penilla. Is Diego healthy?

Biggest blurb I've seen on Lee yet on the MLS site under New England Revs. Bottom line is Friedel is still talking about fitness. Didn't sound like he'd be on the travel roster. Maybe a loss or two will get Friedel to change his mind

If we play well I see a draw. If not, MOTS and it will be an L.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform with Brad in charge. If he can simply get them to play to their talent level they should make the playoffs.

Two unexpected results on MLS opening day so far; hoping for a 3rd.

    Let's go Revs!

The Revs would be expected to win this match. After all, it's the freakin' Union...So Union win 3-1

Feldman opens with his typical hyperbole. Brad Friedel was chosen after a global search...

Matt Turner the starter at GK?

Teal starting with Rowe and Nezmeth on the bench?

    Some unusual lineup decisions
