Orlando picked up two reds in their last game, so that might help. I honestly believe this might be the last chance to win a road game because I don't see it in Montreal.
Good news: The Sports Hub (98.5 FM) keeps mentioning in their Sports Flash that they will be airing the game tonight. Bad news: They also keep mentioning that the Revs haven't won a road game all year. Not exactly the kind of information that will draw people to tuning in to the game.
Jonathan Spector will be a good loss for the Revs. He did not play the last times these teams met although that was injury I think. Also, Orlando has played their last 4 away, so this will be there first home game in awhile. How much attendance may have dropped for them since they have been on the skids, especially on a Wed, to not make it quite so intimidating is a factor. Although an Orlando win puts them on the same points as the Revs. This will be an interesting test to see if we see any sort of change in how prepared the team comes out and knowing they have Atlanta at home 3 days later (who also play tonight against Philly).
This is their last best chance to win an away game on American soil and to fare better in that area than your average CONCACAF minnow.. 2-1 Revs, the Soehn Magic will have Brad gushing about how the playoffs are still a "possibility" with the Revs now having won 2 in a row...
Orlando is 6-4-4 at home, good, but not impregnable. Teams that have won in Orlando this year: NYC TOR ATL VAN The top 3 teams in the East, and the top team in the West. Revs haven't had a draw since May 31st. They are due.
If the Revs don't win tonight, it will have been 2 plus calendar years till they won a road MLS game on US soil.
another game ruined by video replay. Revs screwed again. Are the Revs the only ones that ever get video replayed? That was NO FOUL
It's really hard to defend video review when the Refs looking at the video are completely inept at determining what is serious foul play or not...
I have to hand it to the Orlando announcers im listening too. They completely disagree with the call, and are stunned at the call.
Yeah, I mean it's not often I agree with Feldman's KADisms but he's got a point. From the revs' perspective, the VAR really is a complete joke. To introduce it midseason was a joke and to use it recklessly is a joke. Pathetic.
Fvcking insane. If anything, there should be a review of the non-call of the foul on Kamara by Hines. Fvcking insane.
It was a VERY harsh red IMHO. But Brad complaining about the season hanging by a thread is a joke. Fire Heaps last season instead of last week!
It's still not VAR's fault, its the still the inept Refs making the calls. We just gave them a tool which allows them to make more bad calls. This is why we cant have nice things, thus I guess VAR should be removed... IDK, its ridiculous and I'm having problems being neutral about it anymore after affecting my team so much, so often, so recently.
I know i may just be emotional and reacting to the moment, but I'm starting to think VAR should take away direct red cards from its list of review able plays. OR make only rescinding red cards review able, meaning a ref needs to decide if what he saw live was a red first, then the VAR can talk him down from it if the video shows less force than initially thought.
