oh crap, you didn't use the "formerly" stuff from last year and the only reason we won any games at all.
Well I will continue to DVR games and watch later, basically its so boring I need the Fast Forward option.
Watch all the goals (for both teams fortunately -- respectable defense) in 30 seconds or less. Becoming a poster child team for "Soccer will never catch on in this Country." Sad. #makerapidsoffensegreatagain, #2010
Nice, I'm ready for some howntown Soccer. I see zero changes to starting XI from last year though. Teams have figures us out so lower point total for sure this season.
And I am uncharacteristically pessimistic. Perhaps it's because I don't see the Rapids doing well as they did last season. So I am going to be a bit snarky in saying I think the Pids and Revs will play to a draw of some sort with the Rapids pumping a lot of balls into the box only to see them easily cleared. Time and time again they will advance the ball into the final third only to see the final ball denied. It's going to be even more challenging without Gashi (I am assuming he is still recovering from injury).
If you nobody "fills their pants" on defense, we should be able to come away with a comfortable draw.
I know nothing about New England, I'd need to listen to season pre-view podcast. But I'll predict a 1-1 tie because, well, us.
I'm a little dumb founded that anyone is predicting us to score 2 goals, but I'd much rather be wrong, so here's to hoping for a goal deluge (that's 2 goals for the Rapids).
1-0 win, goal by Gashi. Season opener so I have to be positive but I wouldn't be shocked by a 0-0 draw. I'm not concerned by New England's attack but I'm hopeful the home opener bounce and the power of Jameson will get us the three points. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2017/03/starting-with-jameson-night.html
Is Gashi healthy enough to play? Pablo sounded very cautious about playing him until his Achilles is 100%.
Wow, game day! (Cue Drew Moor...) Did Boateng start any of the Diamond Cup games, or play in the final? Will today's starting XI be this? -------MacMath Miller-Watts-Sjoberg-Burch ----Azira---Cronin Hairston-Powers-Badji ----------Doyle
