http://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/ma...ngland-revolution-vs-new-york-city-fc/preview Revs return home to face City, who are on a 3-game winning streak that has vaulted them into first place in the Eastern Conference. Both teams have allowed 31 goals this year, tied with VAN for most in MLS.
Well, they did give up 7 in one game... NYCFC actually has a better record on the road than away. Their players apparently perform better when they're not playing in a band box.
New England Revolution v New York City Gillette Stadium (7:30pm ET) REF: DAVE GANTAR AR1: Eric Boria AR2: Phil Briere 4TH: Robert Sibiga
Can hardly wait to see what lineup Heaps rolls out tonight. Since we are sucking so much in league games, this should not be treated as a "so what" game. We need to get things straightened out and this is a good time to start
According to the MLSsoccer.com Power Rankings NYCFC is ranked 6 and the Revs are ranked 16. It will be interesting to see how Jack Harrison looks. I have not been paying attention to him at all, but apparently people are pretty excited about his current play and potential. Looks like he went to the Berkshire School as well.
No surprise the disciplinary committee didn't sanction Villa or Pirlo for dangerous play... http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/...fagundez-instant-replay-week-17?autoplay=true
Im watching and Im bored...same ole same ole and we're lucky to not be down a couple Bunbury just screwed up a good chance for us
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......sure would be nice if someone could make a pass in the final third. would also be nice if someone could mark Lampard in the box
i missed all of the first half. This second half has been painful to watch so far. 27 minutes in and i find myself wanting to watch Dual Survival over soccer
good lord the passing is horrendous. Tierney has been horrible, Lee a non-factor. Every pass forward from Rowe is an adventure. Femi has played 13 minutes so far and is already the MOTM
I honestly think Brad and Paul have wet dreams over Tierney's left peg.......its soo freaking annoying
So Orlando supposedly fires their head coach and they are a 1 pt ahead of the Revs. Can we please fire Heaps too? Please JK? Pretty Please??
how can a team with Nguyen and Kamara on the field at the same time not be dangerous? Answer because they are surrounded with crap and coached by a moron
Disappointed with everything tonight. Revs couldn't finish. David Gantar couldn't get much right (OK the red to Bobby was right). Three minutes of added time, when every goal kick and throw after the goal took 30 seconds? I'll be surprised if Lopez isn't fined for the push in the back on JoGo (pushing him into Shuttleworth) at minute 91. Can the fans not boo when the ref misses a call (say the red committed against Farrell in minute 92?). Can the Fort not count when the goalie holds the ball 17 seconds (wasn't there but couldn't hear you on TV)?
I love Shalrie's analysis! "They need two guys working together in midfield" and "Lee didn't show up tonight, he kinda disappeared."
In the 51st minute, 5 minutes after half time, NYCFC turns the ball over just outside our attacking third. Teal takes off down the field. Kei sprints down the wing. Lee and Diego are walking down the field watching the play. Really, you guys tired already?? I couldn't believe that they didn't even try to help support the play. Teal was fouled and we got a free kick out of it, which was better than we deserved given our effort.
