Lee Nguyen up for Goal of the Week: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/07/10/att-mls-goal-week-week-18-voting Vote early, vote often...
I've wondered about that (subbing Caldwell off) too and I've come to the conclusion that it's Heaps "rest" strategy for him. I think he's maybe the only player that Heaps wants to have available to start every MLS game, so instead of sitting him occasionally, he's chosen to spare him some minutes when he feels he can. As for who to replace him with, I'm with you, give Herivaux a chance already. Whenever we've seen him, he's looked up to the task. Daigo is just not a strong dmid at this point, and his giveaway cost us the Montreal game. There's just no upside there - he occasionally will do something good, but he's barely just a competent player, at best. Sure, at this point, a 1-game winning streak against a bad team proves nothing. Before the defensive blunder, I felt this was our best game all season. Watson starting at dmid is a significant move - that's not just the same ole', same ole'. And, Finlay did almost nothing - and then came off (should we start calling that a "Ronaldo"? ).

Lee made it to the finals, but he's up against Urruti's bicycle kick. Finals voting ends at midnight tonight. The last Rev to win GOTW was over a year ago, Diego Fagundez, week 15, 2015.
Lee's goal has my vote. Urruti's goal was athletic, but Lee's was also beautifully done as well. Either goal is a deserved winner.
