You know LAFC is nervous now. If they lose to us yet again, this time in playoffs...

If Pavon and Zlatan kept their finishing boots for Thursday I'm all in.

I know he's not been the same since his injury but what a moment for Lletget. I feel so good for him.

He looked good. Better than I expected given the long layoff.

Whew. Watched the game, couldn't pay attention to the thread. Heck of a game by midfield, off-game by Zlatan. Hopefully so-cal weather will allow the old man to step up.

Amazing goal by Dos Santos, great run by Lletget. Wonderful performance by Romney and Gonzales, CBs need a bit of work.

Dos Santos with the best rating Romney with best defensive rating. Tell me again why he even bothered playing skjfkslfvick other than not wanting to wear Dave out? Screenshot_20191020-225123.jpg

Ctedit where credit is due: Kitchen was solid.

I'm glad we kept the good Dos Santos.

    We've never lost to MNUFC.

Suddenly smells like goats around here...

Wow I am glad this one is over. Waiting watching every one of the other matches first really built up my tension for this match. I had to stand for half the first half until I calmed the hell down. Lol

I don't even want to think about thursday. I am gonna sleep nice tonight.

    Enjoy everybody!

    GO GALAXY!!!

I didn't notice but Skjelvik wasn't even on the bench...

Bench which could look good when everyone is healthy : Gonzalez/Feltscher, Araujo, Corona/Kitchen, Favio, Alessandrini, Pontius.

I’m going to miss seeing my first el traffico in person. Stupid trip to New York.

I like our chances. I’d like to see Polenta on the left facing Vela 1v1 like he did in our home fixture. He owned him that night.

I thought Allesandrini looked awesome tonight. Was impressed.

I read that their guy Kaye might be injured.

Add to that, he scored LA's first ever El Traffico goal. BIG GAME BABY. Time to get the first playoff goal.

    Highlight Time Folks!!!!

What a surprisingly played game. When I saw Kitchen and Gonzalez in the lineup I am like,...wow okay, 4 centerbacks and a center defensive mid. We are going to go old school Bruce Arena/Dom Kinnear "score one goal, bunker down and win ugly" style game. That was the most defensive this team has ever played. This was the perfect game for a David Beckham style set piece goal/corner assist or a Landon Donovan & Edson Buddle counter attack goal. The whole game I am thinking we are defending well enough. We just need to get a goal. However our attack was utterly non-existent since we couldn't counter worth a crap or get off a solid set piece attack. But then it happened. Llegett (who had been a non factor attack wise up to that point) poaches the goal that gets us the lead. At that moment I knew we were going to win. We scored first and they were unable to capitalize on their chances which were also very few and far between. Then we brought in ROMAIN and suddenly the attack returned. He opened up space which allowed JDS to blast a beauty of a goal off his assist. Our DP is BACK Folks!!

    Props to the following,...
    JDS
    Seba
    Pavon
    Romain
    Romney
    Polenta
    Kitchen

Now we must Deal with LAFC and we have to do it with 3 guys carrying yellow cards. Now comes the question who do we start?

As a pessimistic optimist let’s see how those unlikely points earned against LAFC over the past few seasons play out. On paper it’s no contest.

Kaye was injured in the US-Canada game, but I don't know his current status. Walker Zimmerman was also reportedly out of that game because of injury. It's possible both have healed, though, during their time off.
