I haven't seen the whole game, but Celo just said Tim H has made 7 saves. And some were big. That is worrisome; too big a number.
Another dangerous attack by SKC. It seems like they are pushing too many player forward for a team up 2-1 at home, with 7 minutes left.
Threw away one point last week, two today. Awful. Not that they deserved any better. They didn't throw them away because of bad luck; they were inept the second half. Howard was MOM.
I dint see the whole game. I tuned in at minute 59 and The Rapids were up 2-1. They looked incredibly undisciplined for a home team, up a goal deep in the second half. Nobody likes a bunker, but a team like the Rapids must counter because they are generally outgunned. But to be bombing forward when you are up a goal in the second half... I just don't get that. Sit deep, close space, slow the game, and bag 3 points...
This feels familiar. Been trying to suspend judgement with the new-look roster and tactics, but some things are becoming a pattern at this point. I am wholly unconvinced about the backline acquisitions (especially Wynne). Hard to see how Sjoberg is not an upgrade somewhere. Also, Hairston will never been one of the top RBs in the world (sorry Pablo). Guy just cannot track runners. MacBean shouldn't be anywhere near MLS. Love Enzo's story, but there's a reason he's never caught on at this level either.
If you can’t hold a 2 goal lead at home, that is not a good sign. Some talent on the field, but no concept of how to manage or close out a game. I truly hope Hudson is disgusted and shows some passion...rather than just giving some stock quote.
38% possession. I just can’t comprehend why we aren’t able to possess the ball. And we hit a LOT of unpredictable long balls. To be honest, we looked amateur compared to SKC in possession.
