Just got back from the game. Our defense is not the problem, it's our midfield. I know Husidic, but Kitchen got dispossessed on the first Atlanta goal. We don't move off the ball, we don't help each other out. Atlanta completely controlled the middle and the game. Possession must have been 75-25 to them. That used to be us...sigh. What exactly is Gio's role? He came in at left midfield and was promptly on the back line demanding the ball. He was then launching 40 yard passes. That's just not going to work. Alesandrini is a shadow of what he was last year... It's a long season, but we need a playmaker, I don't know if JDS is that guy. We are MLS 2.0, Atlanta is MLS 3.0, there team speed was impressive.
