I wouldn't mind Pontius coming in for Ibra.

Boateng is missing a quality, a certain je ne sais quoi, that's really needed for this offense to truly click.

I really hope that GDS and the organization hasn't given up on each other this season. I'd like to see if GDS can play the position that Emma's playing currently. If he can't, then hopefully Pontius can get healthy and find his form again.

Was Sigi really that bad? Most of the guys he brought/trusted in (Kitchen, Skittles, Ciani) are out of the line up and we look like a solid team that can do some damage. I hope to never see Gio in a Galaxy uniform again.

This team passed better tonight then I have seen all season. Love the heart and effort. Love the organisation and team shape. Go Galaxy!

WIth Jona and Seb in the midfield we can really keep the ball. It's night and day compared to Kitchen or Carasco dropping deep refusing to play any kind of pass forward until it goes back to Bingham to lump it forward. And Bingham isn't better now - if it goes back to him it's 50/50 time. I thought Steres did surprisingly well for me.

p.s. And I still Love what Alessandrini provides in attack. Boateng was good too stretching the field, but he needed to be better in the final third.

    Highlight Time Folks

Ok we have turned a corner folks. Let's ride that staring lineup for what's left of this season. LA and DC are going to sneak into the playoffs if this keeps up. Ibra and Rooney deserve it.

Steres and Romney deserve a hell of a lot of credit. They have provided a rock solid foundation for 180 minutes and counting.

I should also mention that Kitchen and Skjvfduk played their best games of the season - Kitchen absolutely covered his best position for the first 84 minutes of the game and Skfjk for the first 88.

So you're telling me there's a chance. YEAH!

After tonight's results sportsclubstats.com has us at 26.4% to make the playoffs and fivethirtyeight at 29%. And apparently if we win out we will make the playoffs. Well actually sportclubstats has the probability at 99.5%, to be precise.

Either Sigi was that bad, or Dom has been secretly undermining him this entire time.

Beating a tired SEA team and a weak VAN team at home doesn't really prove we are a really good team - but I'm I'm dumb enough to believe we are. With this exact lineup, except a healthy Pontius starting in place of Ema (who would be a great late sub), we could actually make the playoffs and do some damage. And that is the first time I've really believed this all season.

I'm 100% certain that Sigi was bad about his starting lineup selections. Sticking with Skjsjk and Ciani were questionable moves at best -- and there is no universe where Kitchen should have been kept in the starting rotation all season.

Luckily we only have to be 6th best in the West (also known as 1 point better than RSL) to sneak into the playoffs....
