Why even take that much of a risk and tempt Sigi to use him? Leave him home. And if their fans complain, well that's the price they pay for supporting a team that plays on carpet.
I think getting a point on the road with our injuries is asking too much but with Seattle storming up the table it might be critical to our play off ambitions. Who can play I wonder? We might be looking at this: ---------------OLA------- Ema------------------------Pontious ---------------Lleget --------Kitchen---carasco Cole Svevlik--Steres----Romney ----guy who makes himself small--- That's a little barf.
On the other hand this is just the type of game the Galaxy would go out and get a 91st minute winner or tying goal.
I think that is still a good XI despite having no DPs. Hopefully Feltscher can play cause otherwise it's right back Romney and Steres at center back. I also really liked Jamieson when he played the #10 role this season. He gets the ball and likes to attack which is what you need from a #10. Lletget can also play the #8 role.
Alessandrini, Gio, Jonathan and Ciani will all miss the Seattle game this weekend for #LAGalaxy. Sigi Schmid would not say whether @Ibra_official would make the trip— Kevin Baxter 🇺🇦🏳️🌈 (@kbaxter11) August 16, 2018 A point would be fantastic.
However Lletget has had two goals in the last two games playing the more advanced #10 role. I think we should play a 5-2-1-2. With Pontious up top with Ola. I like Jamieson as a #10 as well, however only coming off the bench so far. He's looked great in that sub role but has been a non factor as a starter. If you recall the March 24th away match against Vancouver formation, I'd imagine something close to that.
Lleget is finding his way back. Ibra knows what is at stake so a second half showing, maybe 20, would be appreciated. This is a trap game for Seattle. Zero blowouts.
Well, reportedly, none of the injured travelled including Ibra who of course does not do rugs. Its up to Lletget, Pontius, Kamara and Boa to clench their teeth and make it happen. I have a good feeling about this game. No cans of whoopass shall open. Tight game.
Galaxy will be missing Ibrahimovic http://www.latimes.com/sports/soccer/la-sp-galaxy-20180817-story.html
Game day! Watching this one later tonight after the dust settles. So hope everyone has a fun day and the team surprises us!
I’m in Seattle, going to the game with some friends. It’s a great game day experience so I hope we don’t suck.
