Zlatan received a 2 game ban for grabbing Sean Johnson by the neck in LA's game against the Red Bull. When it happened the ref gave both players yellow. Glad to see that the Disco saw it for what it was and gave the appropriate punishment.

Also, to back up Don’s assertion that Shea Salinas is a better player than Sebastion Lletget I noticed that Lletget has 12 MLS goals to Salinas’ 17. Salinas also leads Lletget in assists 48 to 14. I’m going to predict that Salinas will end up with more career MLS goals than Lletget.

Not going to get into a debate over who is the better player however, it took Salinas 293 games to score his 17 goals. Lletget has scored his 12 in 89 games. At 26, barring career ending injury and moving out of MLS, I think Lletget will have more career MLS goals than Shea.

How many of those games was he consigned to left back? :)

Salinas is outscoring Lletget this season, 4 goals to one.

Not enough to change the fact that he has played 200+ more games in MLS than Lletget has.

So, if you are predicting Shea will outscore Lletget this season I would probably agree with you, however, Jeff was talking career MLS goals.:)

No, as I have told you before, there are others, and most appear to be to be female.

Haha, I mostly brought this up because I was reading game day threads in the BS Galaxy forum and fans are starting to think that maybe Lletget is going to be a guy that struggles to stay fit. I think he was expected to carry some of the offensive load to help Zlatan and it’s be a while since he’s scored.

It’s very possible Shea’s durability gives him the advantage to score more than Lletget. I’m sure he will end up with more assists.

Why are we having a Lletget/Salinas conversation? I really don't see a whole lot of parallels: Shea has spent the vast majority of his career playing on the flanks, and Lletget has spent the majority of his playing time at ACM. I think such comparisons aren't terribly apt.

Are you new to this internet thing? "Apt" and "facts" have nothing to do with it.

I think Shea Salinas is a better locker room presence than Sebastian Lletget is a goal scorer with the outside of his right foot. Now don't quote me, but I _heard_ that Shea thinks he is more intimidating than Lletget is fast. Of course, on the LAG forum they held the obverse. Like they always do. May they perish in their own filth. :D Sorry, that was fun for me.

Vancouver tied Red Bull team 2-2.
Quakes and Vancouver now are tied at 14 points, but EQ have two games in hand.

Looking at the list of players, there are 10 MLS players on the U20 USMNYT at the U-20 WC!
I thought there would be 23 players but there is only 21....

Bruce Arena is bring in Richie Williams to be his assistant coach along with former Galaxy coach Curt Onalfo as technical director. I never liked the Revs but these moves make me hate them even more.

Outside of Kinnear at the Galaxy, I couldn't name an assistant coach on another team, let alone feel I need to "hate them even more" because of ito_O.

Looks like Portland has done well with their new signing, Brian Fernandez. 3 goals and an assist in 120 minutes of action. Because of their stadium renovation Portland played their first 12 games on the road and were a respectable 4-6-2. Going to be tougher the next time we see them.

Didn't he come late in the window too? This is another reason why the "Fisher out... With the pocketbook" must soldier on despite the positive run the team's been in.

You are right....Not sure why the guy on Rai said it was €135 million as it should be €165 million...
