Awesome? It's ridiculous. A proposal for collective punishment for a speech "crime" of which there is no admissible evidence. ("Kevin Baxter, the sports columnist and soccer expert for the Los Angeles Times, said he did not personally hear the slur, but he told Outsports . . .").

This column is a distillation of a lot that is wrong with America today. And the uncreative meatheads allegedly -- and evidently inaudibly -- chanting stupid stuff is the least of it. Fascism is worse than ugly speech. (With apologies for offending anyone who is a fascist.)
