Real Salt Lake fire their head coach Jeff Cassar only 3 games into the season. Is Dom next? Or will it be Curt Onalfo?

    Dom is secure.

People still owe me beers because he coached on opening day. :)

To add another issue, there are still a number of artificial turf fields in MLS. Players used to playing on pristine grass fields are in for a major adjustment. It also raises the risk of injury. European players do train on those fields from time to time, but it's different playing a full speed competitive game.

Cyberspace war!!! Oh please! I can't recall the name of the Democratic congressman the other day who stated and tried to compare these Russian cyberspace attacks are acts of war. My relatives , parents in Italy, France , Germany and Africa, lived through WW 2 and my grandparents through two world wars. They all overcame, hunger, persecution, poverty , hatred , violent crimes , arrests , prison and concentration camps, facing death at every hour of the day. They also faced firing squads and these guys are comparing computer hacking to a war? Give me a break!

I know you were and I wasn't disagreeing with you. My point wasn't directed towards you but rather how the democrat congressman tried to compare the cyberspace wars with Russian hacking to an actual act of war and I was just pointing out how ludicrous that was.

Only to a point - if you study your history, you will understand that a major factor in the dissolution of the Soviet Empire was the unsustainable level of military spending the USSR had to do to 'keep up.' I think that Putin and his cronies learned that lesson well. So well that they are attempting to covertly disrupt the US economy by any means necessary, hoping (with no small chance of success) that the US empire will crumble from within...

All it takes is a single cyber-attack by a foreign power and no one will ever be able to get tickets to a soccer game anymore. :)

Unless they put on a bomb in a computer and leave it in a soccer stadium, I'm certainly not afraid of a little hacking. My Mother, (who by the way became an American citizen today) is certainly not afraid of a little hacking. She still however, has nightmares of the Germans breaking into her home, violently abusing , robbing and pillaging her family though...

If the Russians used or hacked a web site in order to execute their cyberattacks maybe what he really meant is that it is an act of .WAR. (Little joke for the geeks in the house).

Back to soccer....Minnesota Unaldulterated Fail Club needs to just stop, cancel the season, fire everyone including front office and ownership, and rebid for MLS expansion acceptance.

Look at the bright side, they have brought more scoring into the league, and the Quakes are pretty much guaranteed not to win the Wooden Spoon.
