Atalanta and Sassoulo could well have a gentleman's agreement here seeing as Sassoulo have nothing to play for and the club will likely get some cut from champions league football at their stadium next season We've seen these final stage games in Italy over the years when teams need results. Wont be shocked to see Sass go ahead to make it seem legit or they just do a Lazio and play at walking pace and make it obvious.

A solution is to have clubs play their biggest rival (available) the last match of the season. Inter vs Milan, Roma vs Lazio, Juve vs Torino etc. unlikely one of those clubs lays down for the other
