lol, good lord. This is what happens when your owner knows nothing about sports. To actually have a long-time advisor who specializes in replacing dudes who constantly get fired should be a red-flag on it's own. I imagine the club is rife with backstabbing and conflict rather than having a staff with a unified vision. Pallotta thinks he knows more than he does, (common mistake with sports owners, they think their ability in the business world can translate), surrounds himself with way too many voices, hires a bunch of people who whisper things in his ear, and the result is a ton of disharmony along with dysfunction. I like Jimmy, and I think he's a good owner overall. If he builds Roma a stadium it'll be the best thing to happen for Roma in a long time, but damn, he really just doesn't know shit about sports.
