people put too much stock in domestic form when it comes to the CL. It's a clean slate. Inter couldn't beat Parma , yet beat Spurs.
We might get another Roma-classic CL-beating today but still advance. I prefer this over Napoli's situation who already drew a game you must win in a group like theirs.
The right winger we need Gervinho momentarily forgets what year it is & tears up the pitch like it’s 2008 #ParmaCagliari https://t.co/kND3wLNQhV— Adam Digby (@Adz77) September 22, 2018
Nainggolan with another one of his trademark volleys from outside the box. Grazie Mongo. VAR rules it offsides from the initial free kick that was 30 seconds before.
Going back for these very marginal offside calls is bullsh1t. Saved us against Torino too. Our only win this year.
Lol, var cockblocking like a champ in inter-samp. 3 out now Edit: and now one finally sticks. Fck inter
Sucks. Sampdoria away will be a trap for everyone else. Easily the hardest place to win at in Italy, imo.
Spalletti sent off either for insulting the officials, or, if you believe him, yelling at a tv camera after the winner. What a strange game. What an annoying ending.
I was watching the second half, he was definitely yelling into the tv camera. He was looking right into the camera.
I'm not arguing whether it was offside or not. It was. But this business of scoring a goal, celebrating and getting to the point where everybody is ready to kick-off and resume the game before going back and disallowing the goal for a very marginal offside is a bit farsical. I don't mind the 2nd VAR incident as much, but that was clearly out and should be spotted and flagged immediately by the officials. Don't even get me started on the 3rd VAR incident when Defrel was half a mile offside. Just really poor officiating. It's like they don't want to make a call any more, even obvious ones, because you know, VAR will sort it out.
I know, but what's the alternative? Only withdraw it if it's more than 30cm or whatever number you feel comfortable with?
What terrible defending. What were those two idiots trying to tackle? Nice run but it looked like it came straight off of XBox.
Easy to say when you're not the one trying to run him down. The pitch looks like a minefield, which makes that run even more impressive. He still almost missed the goal on the shot. Long live the closed eyes shooting technique.
