Long overdue. I'd have retired out of sheer embarrassment when I realized I was no longer fast enough to catch my wife and young son as they ran out of Dick's Sporting Goods.

LA is even writing letters to away fans. The Krafts don't even do that for their own fans LOL

I would love to get Rogers on the Revs. A Rogers-Red-Dread-Ralston midfield would possibly be the best in the league. Of course thats hoping Ralston and Red play here next year.

The worst FO in the league? That should be reserved for teams whom have less trophies than they do.

as far as rogers goes, he was always going to europe this offseason. he doesnt care about mls. that much is pretty apparent.

    Interesting tweet from Grant Wahl:

@GrantWahl: Leiweke to Guardian: Beckham Rule changing to allow 3 DPs per MLS team. Big-name stars coming after World Cup. http://tinyurl.com/y9unfak

What I got from the article was that a team will be able to trade for a 3rd dp slot. I don't think there will be 3 per team.

That's a great read. Even with the inflation-speak you'll always get from the suits I think it's clear they are convinced that top flight soccer has a solid future in the US.

Same with me. 3 DP's would take up more then half the cap, which is pretty much guaranteeing that the salary cap will substantially be increased.

    What this guy said!

No one is getting this news story, everyone thinks there are just going to be 3 slots per team. That would render the salary cap practically useless, assuming they raise it enough for teams to have 3 DPs.

"After the World Cup you're going to see a lot of significant players [moving to the MLS] "
I wonder if they have actually been in contact with a few players
