Give me a break. We could have got double for that, Alisson was sold as the most expensive keeper, then some loser keeper was sold for more than that a week later. Salah was a great player and would have become even better if your American Heroes would have given him a team he deserves. The Salah was never good with us - is a pathetic argument used by the ones who are still under the Pallotta and Mongo magic.
I heavily disagree they’re worse on paper than City. Everyone on City except De Bruyne are insanely overrated. Salah, Mane Alisson, Van Dijk and Fabinho blow anyone on City except him out of the water.
Man City was using midfielders for CBs, how are they much better on paper? A year ago, sure. Liverpool have much better depth at the moment.
That has alot to do with coaching.Its not first time Guardiola uses midfielders as CB. He did it in barcelona, and LE did around the same at Roma with switching Cassetti from side back to CB or De Rossi as CB. There is no way Liverpool has better depth than City. Just no way. City are better on paper that Liverpool, Klopp coaching is the difference as Liverpool are pushing well above their weight IMO for 2 years in row.
Pep's not doing that this season because he wants to though, its out of necessity. Everyone else was out injured. Liverpool are not "punching above their weight" with all the money they've spent over the last 4 years.
I’ve been watching a lot of Pool games over the break, it’s actually insane how little he has had to do. The most intense run of games of the season and they barely concede a shot.
This is kind of sad. Hakan Suker is reduced to being an Uber driver. He was living in the San Francisco Bay Area or Palo Alto owning a café but he left because he said "strange people kept coming into the bar".
