I remember reading once there were actually 500,000 Italians in Toronto Ontario. I can't recall if they were Italian citizens and their offspring or just regular immigrants. My cousins live in Niagara Falls and they said there are mostly Calabresi and Sicilians living there.

Definitely! He’s got the wonderkid tag, hopefully it works out for everyone. I’m sure @JoãozinhoFutebol has a much better idea of him

Egypt won the last friendly game against Guinea 3-1 before the African Cup of Nations starting this Friday. This goal got me hyped for the tournament
Watching the Brazil vs Italy game right now, noticed the Brazilian women are wearing the kit with 5 stars on the crest and the Italian women wearing 4 stars. Does this mean the US Men can start wearing a kit with 3 stars for each of the women's team WC victories?
We might have to work in some Gold Cup stars if we keep going at this rate. Italy women are a decent watch. They're well coached.
typically they're struggling a bit with Brazil but they've been a joy to watch otherwise. Especially Bonansea
They pass and counter nicely. Agreed on Bonansea. She should've scored. They sat back a ton today, especially in the second half, probably because anything but getting blown out would win the group. Far be it for an Italian team to try when they don't have to. The penalty call was weak.
I texted a buddy of mine in Brazil, this is what he said: "He's a winger with a good knack for scoring, good pace and good dribbler. Can play as striker, but spend most of the year as an out and out winger. He's still very inconsistent even as a dribbler. There's games where he was unstoppable in 1x1 while in others he couldn't beat anybody. It's tough to compare them cause he broke out at an earlier age (17 against 19), but I see a bit of David Neres in him." Nothing overly enlightening, but it's the best I could do for ya. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anything close to Neres for 6m would be pretty kick-ass, imo.
Wow! Brazil had a goal called back in the 87th minute! Final score, Brazil vs Venezuela 0-0 in Copa America! There was even 9 minutes of injury time... Forza Vinotinto! USA vs. Guyana 1-0, in the Gold Cup on now! Paul Arriola scores!
Brazil had 2 goals overturned by VAR. The 2nd one was unlucky. The shot was clearly going in anyway but deflected off Firmino who was inches ahead of the keeper who was scrambling back.
Michael Bradley drives me crazy. He doesn't pick his head up at all. Even his assist was a late pass that Boyd adjusted to and buried.
Wiki says, Michael Bradley assisted on Tyler Boyd’s goal, which was the 1000th USMNT strike! He will be 35 at the 2022 WC though and he should retire him from the national team after this tournament.
