Atalanta deserves a mention by now. After Coluantuono has left, they're having another good season and their 5-1 win against Napoli is an example of this. Ferreira Pinto is a quality player and Doni is still showing why he is an icon to i bergamaschi. Langella is back in form and Floccari has been a surprise in the last two weeks.

    Atalanta's Muslimovic joins PAOK
    Muslimovic Deal

Following prolonged negotiations between PAOK and Atalanta, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international put pen to paper on a three year deal with one of the traditional powerhouses of Greek football.

An official statement on www.paokfc.gr read: “PAOK would like to announce that it has reached an agreement with Atalanta for the transfer of Zlatan Muslimovic. The Bosnian international eagerly arrived in Thessaloniki this afternoon with his manager Michel Mazen Moussalli and signed a three-year deal.”

The 27-year old enjoyed a brief spell at Udinese early in his career before going on to play for a number of Italian clubs, including Perugia, Messina, Parma and Atalanta.

Muslimovic has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina twelve times, scoring nine goals for his country and upon his arrival in Thessaloniki was greeted by adoring PAOK supporters who wrapped an iconic black-and-white scarf around the player’s neck.

According to the papers, there is an option to buy in the loan contract if Livorno will escape relegation, on a simbolic fee of 1.000 €!

Are there any Atalanta fans here or anyone that follows the Bergamo club regularly? I didn't want to start a thread to ask that and see what everyone's opinion on Chilean Jaime Valdes was. The guy has scored the last 3 weekends in a row and has been in Italy for almost 10 years now.

How about Novara? In the span of 12 months they went from the C1 to the Serie A. Wonder how other teams will play on their home artifical turf? I believe that type of pitch will be the first ever used in Italy's top tier.

Good win on a very wet field for Atalanta today. German Denis with the goal in the first half.

Novara are fascinating. I've only seen the first half of the game against Catania and I still have to watch the Inter game. Despite that, they have the best attack and the second worst defence. They have a few lanky guys too. They must have good scouts too. They are a bit like Chievo in the sense that they work on a small budget.

didn't see a cesena thread...they continue to lack goals but could have gotten a point after inter scored
the fans were not quiet at all, it looked sold out and great on tv
too bad they are in relegation
