Dallas almost had them. Just ran out of steam. And they should have waited on that corner kick and let VAR look at that potential handball call....
Hamid showing why he isn’t a USMNT keeper. Spills soft shot right to feet of lone TOR forward, 1-0. Lot of talent but too many unforced errors.
Agree with all of this. DAL played great especially for young team on road. But even with review probably not hand ball, replay showed ball hit back of shoulder first.
Completely forgot about the other playoff games. Sad I missed Seattle and Dallas. It seems like the game was a reminder that the playoffs are a different beast. I never expected Dallas to even compete.
More about Kamara - excellent 1.05 goal per 90 min since DC bought him for $2.5 mil. But in 9 games: 4 dnp’s (?) and 2 late subs. Rooney injured in late Aug, got 3 starts, all on road, scored 3 goals. Reward was back to bench for 3 consecutive dnp’s? I understand Rooney starting in front of him but still...
Same here, found game by accident at minute 60. But was entertaining because of the late goals and playoff intensity that you mention.
Boateng loses ball and it ends up in corner and then keeps TOR on side for their score. Not looking good in his sub role. I’m also not impressed with Olsens coaching. DC has a lot of individual talent but everything is random, team seems worse than the sum of their parts. As I write that TOR goes up 4-1, scoring 3 in overtime.
No possibility of home games for the Galaxy in the western conference playoffs, the home team won all 4 playoff games today. Hopefully that changes tomorrow.....
Really impressive performance from Jordan Morris. That kid is a beast in the playoffs. Edit: Guess he's not really a kid anymore.
Watching the TOR-NYCFC game, halftime now. TOR has a very impressive midfield and are dominating. A lot of intricate quick passing & movement, Barcelona-esque. They lack scorers though, especially with Altidore out.
