Other MLS games and Teams/Players [R]

We can be the first US team.

 

Should be in for the USOC every year as well if the team keeps pumping the moniker of being America's premier soccer club.

 

With Vancouver's loss to LAFC, every Western team above the playoff line has a home loss, so I guess we shouldn't feel too bad. (The exception if LAFC, who are homeless; although we gave them the closest thing to a home loss they can have without a stadium). No clear dominance in the West again this season. Normally strong teams faltering / rebuilding: LA, Seattle, Portland, RSL, Dallas.

 

I want TFC to do well tonight. Rooting for them. MLS needs a win, and as said above, we can carry the torch for a US squad (though the Diablo Record tweeting that Toronto FC is excited to represent the US at the Club World Cup made me laugh for days).

I would watch the game on Univision over DirecTV. But when I tried the SAP button last time it did not work. Is there a way to get the SAP feed on DTV or do I need to set up an over-the-air antenna? Alternatively, is there an English commentary feed being streamed somewhere?

I mean maybe TFC pulls a huge upset in Mexico, but I’ve seen this one before.

 

This is concacaf. You have to take your chances. Toronto had theirs. Chivas made theirs .

 

We've seen some crazy things happen in 2nd legs this season. TFC shouldn't feel out of it. Stage is set for a big moment.

 

The only thing that gives me hope is Toronto's missed chances. They'll have opportunities to score in Mexico.

 

Don't feel so bad about our loss to SKC now....

 

SKC is really fun to watch this year. Can't hate them. They work hard, they're dynamic, they beat good teams and really bad ones too. Really really early contender for the Cup imo.

 

Well, they were playing 11 v. 9 against Vancouver for 60 minutes, but yeah - they do look good.

 

We also weren't quite a full strength either time.
