Does Atlanta have any room? Guy is top 3 among Union finishers. Shame he couldn't harness that skill to better effect.
Agreed. He's a poacher who does best cleaning up alongside another striker. I think he'll find his stride somewhere where the system suits him better. He's still young, and is very talented.
Did anyone watch Dream Team when it was on FSC? Why do have this feeling, the early days for the Union would have been equally outlandish and compelling?
LOL. Good old Harchester United. I was just thinking about that show the other day. I think your comparisons are pretty spot on.
It's all been hush-hush, swept under the rug, not been made too public ... but according to the sewing circle, seems as though Mrs. Parke may have been unfaithful, breaking the sixth (or seventh?) commandment with one of her husband's former Union teammates.
Seeing as how I don't sew, who is the alleged third party in that situation? Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Parke? I think I saw a "movie" on the internet where something like that happened. . .
Strange thing is all the younger players (the rejectes) of the era were partying with him at Cruz's wedding like nothing had happened.
How about Pfeffer!? Released by Colorado http://www.socceramerica.com/article/72491/sneak-peek-colorado-looks-to-build-on-2016-succes.html and still with no team; maybe should have just have played in College...
Eh, he played a lot more soccer as a HGP than if he had gone to college. The argument could be made that he'd have done better if Bethlehem existed back then, but there's also the possibility that he just wasn't good enough. We're not the only team to have HGPs flame-out.
My memory is getting a little rusty, but from what I recall, it wasn't that he wasn't a good player, it was that he just didn't fit. We needed a D-Mid and he was more of a box to box, and got from box to box slowly.
