The outright racists know exactly what is going on and are all aboard with the Trump Race Baiting, while the kinda/sorta/don't want to admit to it racists are able to tell themselves that this discussion isn't about race, it's about Americans vs. people who are not Americans.

Before my time, Gramps. My brother has a funny story about driving back from Quantico when a NJ State Trooper stopped him on the Parkway just past a toll booth. He & a Marine buddy were pounding beers & a bottle of whiskey all the way up here and had a bunch of empty beer cans. Back then he wasn't so worried about the beers but whiskey was a bit much. So his buddy distracted the trooper with some military talk and my brother ripped the gear shifter boot off (I think it was a Vega) and jammed cans & the whiskey bottle down. The trooper gave him a warning for speeding and as he drove off he ran over the whole mess with his back tires.
