Not anymore. Seems like he was released by the club over the winter break.

CKR started today but was pulled at HT, with PYY on bench.

SYJ started HSVII match and played 90. He's been playing 90 every other match so not sure part of recovery plan or just alternating LBs.

He should go to France again. With his stats should be easy to convince a mid- to lowtable team, even if Qatar league's quality sucks. We've witnessed him being king in a shite league, but I am eager to see how he plays in a good league. Then again he won't get the wage he's earning, tho he should've earned enough to survive a one-year trial in France. If he can't shine it will 1.show how poor the Qatar league is and 2. he can come back to Lekhwiya. Just an idea.

Edit: Remember he wasn't completely bad when playing for Valenciennes. Just young and inexperienced. And he is still in a good age.

Qatari league seems to have a lot of flair though. Their attacking game is quite fun to watch. Very fluid.

There is no way that NTH will be going to the French League when the French team can find a similar calibre young player for lower wage, cheaper transfer fee and better upside. That kind of players are plenty.

I know that chances are low. Still think that a club could be blinded by the stats. Then again if Lekhwiya would demand like 3m then I also doubt someone will gamble that high.

If he was actually decent in international games he would get a second shot. When it's against real opponents he caves like a little bitch.

Suk Hyun Jun with another goalless game subbed out in the 70th min. It's brutal how he regressed after a wrong career choice... :(

I think he gave the title to Lekhwiya scoring that goal.

He strikes again today in ACL with a perfect shot. He is the best scorer in Lekhwiya's history.

Honestly I rather have him maintain top-class status in QSL than go to Europe.

    EDIT: sounds dumb I know.

In fact, it depends on what he could achieve in Europe. But since he is doing very well both at club and KNT, it's not that dumb to want him to stay here.

This. He had been given many chances but besides a few hopeful moments, he didn't really impress me. If he doesn't step up I can't see a reason to stick to him. There have been many cases where players from shitty ME leagues returned to Europe and could reanimate their European career. I would personally like to see him in Ligue Un back one day.

Are we talking about a guy who gave up on his career in french football, to play in the ME, yes?

I don't know why people still have hopes about him, and for NTH the excuse "poor guy, didn't get offers from Europe" it's not valid since he was already playing there.

I seriously doubt he cares to challenge himself in Europe anymore.

best part is nam taehee is a product of kfas project from the late 00's. kfa convinced ulsan to let him go for nothing so he can play in europe. 'itd be for the greater good' they said. he not only throws away what looked like a hopeful career in europe, now hes making millions all to himself (could be highest korean earner after he signed that new contract last year) and does nothing to return to korean soccer, after all that was provided for him and sacrificed for him. if i am a reporter who can get in close proximity with national team players, i bring this shit up every time i run into him. even if he didnt give a crap and wasnt interested in taking responsibility at the very least it would annoy him
