It will be interesting, since Zheng Zhi's stock is as high or higher than most Abroad Chinese players. I would like to see him in Charlton again. B'ham will use him like a utility player, i think.

Is Shao going to be a first team regular at Cottbus? hope so.

It doesn't look so good for Jihai, Man City is buying like maniacs. However i don't know what Eriksson thinks of Jihai.

Maybe he should transfer to B'Ham :D

Yea, Sun's City days is most likely over... the problem is due to the AC i dont think Sven has even seen him in training much... but now they signed a Spanish Leftback and a Croat Rightback it seems like Jihai's days are limited... but of course if he choose to stay there is a chance he can win the spot back!!

I have a feeling Man City is going to tank big time this year. They just bought a whole bunch of players from everywhere, I don't think they are buying what they need but just buying b/c they can. Also, I don't think they have a long schedule like those playing in the champions league or eufa cup or whatever so they won't be able to play all their players. It's gonna create lot of problems if certain players are not getting enough playing time. I think Jiahi has a good chance of staying on since he was a regular for a while. However, I read that the new Shenhua owner wants to bring Jihai back to Shanghai. We'll see how that goes...

The problem is City needed players in almost every position so while it looks like they are just buying left and right they are filling the positions that they need. 2 Forwards, 2 fullbacks, 2 Wingers and 2 central mids. City actually still need a Central D and probably another attacking mid.

Keep in mind with suspensions and injuries you do need a deep team maybe not to the level of Chelsea or Liverpool but enough so when it hits midseason and the legs are a bit tired there are others ready to run on and compete for spots.

No way City is going to tank this year. I just watched City-Valencia first half and City looks great. Petrov is simply world class player.
